Pregnancy-first-chiro-visit

Hi everyone,

Welcome to our chiropractic clinic at Red-Hill (159 Musgrave Rd), and our website designed for Chiropractor Dr. Tressa Fuss. Although we address all things chiropractic, we love particularly to work with natal/pregnancy and child birth.

Our Red Hill clinic is situated within Red Hill Health Central located near the paddington end of Red Hill. We are only 5 minutes from Brisbane with public transport right in front.

You can view the site using desktops, laptops and even smart phones. As time progresses we shall be adding more content to help our patients, and of course blogging with what is going on with the clinic. So feel free to watch this space from time to time.

If you have any comments about the site, our service or any specific chiropractor related questions, then please contact us.

Dr Tressa is one of the few chiropractors in Brisbane that practices Cranial Therapy, a very gentle technique utilizing light pressure on the joints of the skull, which can help with energy, concentration, co-ordination, sleep, headaches, migraines, breathing, jaw problems and much more.

Dr. Tressa Fuss (with a B.App.Sc.(Chiro), M.Clin.Chiro) is a family-based wellness chiropractor located at Red Hill, Brisbane city inner west.  She has completed her Bachelor and Masters degrees with a focus on Pregnancy Care and Paediatrics and won the Chiropractic Victorian Registration Board Clinical Excellence Award for 2009.

The philosophy of chiropractic is based upon the fact that the brain is the master controller of the body. In order for your body to feel good and work well your brain needs to be able to send messages to your body, telling it what to do. It also needs great quality information back from your body to know what is going on so that it makes changes to heal or correct problems.

Your brain sends signals down the spinal cord which is protected by your spinal column. The adult spine and pelvis is made up of 24 vertebrae, 2 pelvic bones and the tail-bone (sacrum and coccyx). Between each bone a nerve exits on each side and travels out to the body delivering information to the body and back to the brain. Between these bones are 80 joints. The job of the joints is to allow movement of the spine, helping you to bend, twist and turn.
